Clem Goes Back-to-Back; Sweigart Wins Founders Cup

Racing continues for many J&J Auto Racing teams around the Midwest. Three J&J teams earned victories over the weekend of October 22-23.

Tyler Clem continues his winning streak by collecting his 3rd win in a row at Hendry Country Dirt Track. Clem had his work cut-out for him in the feature as he started inside, row two and by lap 11, Clem made the pass for the lead and drove off to earn back-to-back wins with the Top Gun Sprint Series. He is currently leading the TGSS points by seventy over second.

Closing his 305ci winged sprint car chapter, "Nitro Nick", Nick Sweigart went out with a bang by winning the Founders Cup at Port Royal Speedway with the Pennsylvania Sprint Series. He has quite the 305ci career under his belt with 342 laps lead, 3 wins, 87 A-Main events with only 4 DNQ's in 91 races. Nick will be making his 410ci winged sprint car debut in 2022 in the Keystone State.

Returning to his famous stomping grounds, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. swapped his 410ci motor to his 360ci motor to join the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series at the popular Short Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway. Sam came out on top on to win Night One and finishing second to Blake Hahn on Night Two.
