Horstman Collects Fifth NRA Sprint Invaders Championship

Eight J&J Auto Racing teams recorded eight wins and one series championship over the weekend of August 21-24.

It was five-for-five for Cloverdale, Ohio's Jared Horstman on Saturday, August 21st. Horstman and his No.17; 360ci sprint car team, as they picked up their fifth win of the 2021 race season and their fifth NRA Sprint Invader's Championship at Waynesfield Raceway Park. 

A few hundred miles away, in front of his hometown crowd, Donny Schatz grabbed his 301st win of his World of Outlaws career and also his fourth win of the season at Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, North Dakota. More than half of Schatz's 301 wins were behind the wheel of a J&J Auto Racing Chassis.

Winning a race that was close to several hearts, Danny Woods took home the Lyndon Moss Memorial race after starting from outside of the pole at Route 66 Motor Speedway. Woods chalked up his fourth win to date of the season and one of the biggest payouts for the 305ci class, $15,000.
