Stewart & Haudenschild Win Thrillers

It was a win for the storybooks for two J&J Auto Racing teams over the weekend, April 14-18.

Tony Stewart, the pilot of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing No.14 scored his second win of the season at Virginia Motor Speedway by surviving a tire wear battle during the main event. An abrasive track led to multiple flat right rears for many competitors, while Stewart who started 8th, leaned on his knowledge of tire usage and found himself in the right place, at the right time.

After rain washed away the World of Outlaws weekend in Oklahoma and Texas, Sheldon Haudenschild and the Stenhouse Jr. Marshall Racing No.17 team hauled to Knoxville, IA for the Pella Motors/Kraig Ford season opener at Knoxville Raceway. Haudenschild stole the show by his last lap pass to win after starting 14th in the feature. Sheldon joins his father Jac Haudenschild as a Knoville Raceway winner.

Tony Stewart, Virginia Speedway, ASCoC

Sheldon Haudenschild, Knoxville Raceway, 410 Sprints
