McKENZIE, Tenn. (April 4, 2018) – It may have been a damp, cold holiday weekend in Pennsylvania, but Mother Nature couldn’t stop J&J Auto Racing’s Ryan Taylor and Jeff Halligan as the duo posted convincing wins at Keystone State sprint car racing staples over Easter weekend.
Taylor kicked off the triple win effort on March 30 with a victory in the 410ci winged sprint car division at the legendary Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Maintaining the lead through several restarts, Taylor dominated the 25-lap Feature Event to earn his second career victory worth $3,600.
Halligan kept the party going as he followed Taylor’s victory up with a win in the 358ci winged sprint car division at Williams Grove on the same night. Winning his heat race, Halligan originally lined up from the third position to start the feature event. Inheriting the pole after a no-go on the initial restart, Halligan set sail and maintained two additional restarts to earn the victory. The Pennsylvania native went on for a clean sweep of the weekend as he also picked up the win at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., on March 31 in the 358ci winged sprint car division.
