Brocas Is Best In New Zealand

McKENZIE, Tenn. (Jan. 26, 2018) – Veteran Sprint Car ace, Kerry Brocas, went into the New Zealand Sprint Car title event at Vodafone Speedway Western Springs on January 20 confident but not considered the favorite to win. With nearly 30 years of racing experience in both Midget Cars and Sprint Cars, Brocas is hardly a rookie or novice. However, he could be considered something of an outsider when compared to the international names he was to compete against.
Last Saturday, Brocas made sure everyone knew his name.
The 55-year-old driver was steady throughout the night, racing well in the heat events to put himself in a solid position to start the 30-lap feature event. Taking the lead near the midpoint of the race, Brocas set sail and never looked back to take the checkered flag. It was the first time in his career that he would etch his name on the coveted New Zealand Sprint Car cup.
To sum up his evening, Brocas offered that “there is nothing I love more than being in my race car.”
We agree, Kerry – and J&J Auto Racing is proud to have you as a brand ambassador.
