Wins Continue, Schatz Wins The War In Charlotte

McKENZIE, Tenn. (November 10, 2017) – J&J Auto Racing teams continued to harvest wins last week as the McKenzie, Tenn., based manufacturer saw four drivers earn wins in three states and two countries including Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina and Australia.

For the fifth consecutive year, Donny Schatz and the No. 15 Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing team broke through the 20-win barrier with a victory at The Dirt Track @ Charlotte on November 3rd. The win put Schatz at 23 victories thus far in 2017. The Textron Off Road/Arctic Cat/Curb/Ford Performance/J&J team also claimed the 2017 World of Outlaws (WoO) Craftsman Sprint Car Series title to wrap up the traditional racing season. They were honored at the WoO series banquet on Sunday, Nov. 5 in Concord, NC.

J&J Auto Racing was also named as the 2017 WoO Craftsman Sprint Car Series “Chassis Builder of the Year” at the awards banquet.

Lucas Wolfe drove to another victory in the Northeast over the weekend, posting a win against the United Racing Club (URC) at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey. The triumph marked Wolfe’s fourth win in a J&J Auto Racing entry this season. Hayden Campbell picked up a win at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL, on Oct. 28 against the Top Gun Sprint Series to earn his second win behind the wheel of a J&J Auto Racing entry this year in back-to-back weekends.

Dave Murcott won the Australian Sprintcar Allstar event at Maxi Moves Timmis Speedway in Mildura, Vic., Australia on Nov. 4 as the sprint car racing action overseas heats up. In addition, Jamie Oldfield took the winning international on Nov. 3 as he drove to victory lane at the Perth Motorplex in Australia.
