New Year, New Season Kicked-off By Twitter Promotion
McKENZIE, Tenn. (Jan. 18, 2017) – J&J Auto Racing teams continued the brand’s winning ways in 2016, but the McKenzie, Tenn., based manufacturer is welded and working toward not only a repeat of last year’s success but in the direction of its best season to-date. Filling orders for new chassis, kits and other J&J Auto Racing parts at a dizzying rate in January, the championship winning manufacturer is looking to pick up where 2016 left off.
Posting over 200 victories in during the 2016 season, J&J Auto Racing helped drivers across four countries (United States, Australia, Canada and New Zealand) earn titles and wins in over 40 different series and divisions. Led by 12-time World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Champion, Donny Schatz, the Fargo, N.D., native drove J&J Auto Racing into the winner’s circle a brand-high 29 times last season. 2016 American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Champion, Sam Hafertepe, Jr., also earned wins totaling in the double-digits as he drove to 10 victories. NRA Sprint Invaders champion, Jared Horstman, racked up 10 victories while Arkansas native, Derek Hagar drove to an impressive 14 wins last season behind the wheel of a J&J Auto Racing machine.
To kick-off the 2017 season, J&J Auto Racing is proud to announce a Twitter contest open to both race teams competing under the brand’s banner as well as the public. For a chance to win a free J&J Auto Racing T-shirt, entrants must follow the brand on Twitter @JJ_Auto_Racing and post an appropriate racing-related image with J&J Auto Racing’s Twitter account tagged. A winner from tagged photos will be selected monthly and announced via J&J Auto Racing’s social media pages. All those submitting photos agree to allow J&J Auto Racing usage rights with photo credit. The contest will begin on February 1, 2017, and run through December 31, 2017. Monthly winners will be selected the last day of each month and announced accordingly.
